save the date!!!
Meet my gorgeous save the date, created by my amazingly talented sorority sister, Marisa. (She is on Etsy at MadeByMarisa) She is a genius, as you can see. I ordered them on postcards from vistaprint. I ended up having the back say "We hope you can make it!". I also put a quote at the bottom "If I know what love is, it is because of you". I added a cute little graphic & ordered return address labels with the matching graphic. I am going to send these in envelopes. LOVE THEM! I can't wait until they come in!! (I smudged out our wedding website and last names)
MY INVITATIONS!! :) I had these created using various ideas I found -- I LOVE the way they turned out. It will be on an ivory cardstock with a heavy chocolate brown cardstock behind it (double layer). Ivory envelopes to match. Classic & elegant!
Let them eat!
This is the menu - we will put one on each plate. I had this created by an etsy seller (see Vendors for info) - she did a fantastic job!! I used one of my monograms on the top. Love it!
Stamps!! The 44 cent stamps are for the RSVP and the 61 cent stamps are for the invitations! Don't forget to include this in your budget!

It's vellum paper with a baby picture of me & Josh - my mom is a GENIUS and made it look like we are standing together - amazing!!!
Invitation Inspiration!
I found a lovely woman (through a friend) to create our invitations. This is what I asked her to re-create. I wish we could do letterpress but it's just too expensive - I love the look of these. We will have brown writing and a back layer of chocolate brown cardstock. I also think we're going to have square invitations versus the rectangle.
Double Layer Inspiration!
I sent this invite to the woman creating our invites to show her exactly how I wanted the double layer to look (no ribbon, no buckle).
Lovely monograms!!! See vendor reviews for details - I plan on using these throughout my wedding... the top right will be used post-wedding :) I LOVE THEM!!
